Mobile Pail Filler – Dual Lance
This unique mobile pail filler, with two filling lances and an air-operated lid press, was custom made for batch filling operations at multiple filling locations. With four swivel casters and two handrails it can be moved around by hand or by a fork truck. The clear safety shields allow the operator complete protection from splash-back of chemicals. While positioned at a filling station, it can fill 8 to 10 five gallon pails per minute, depending on viscosity.
Model: MPF-520
Rate: 8 to 10 pails per minute depending on product viscosity
Container: 1 to 7 gallon pails, jugs, or jerrycans
Material: Carbon or stainless steel construction, all wetted parts use 316 stainless steel
Overview
This dual-head, mobile pail filler was created for production or batch filling operations at multiple filling locations. It is a top and sub-surface pail filling machine for 1 to 7 gallon pails, or containers up to 19″ tall, built to move around a level plant floor on casters. In most cases, 3/4″ diameter lances are used for small bung openings, but we make lances up to a 1.9″ diameter. The photo shows the two clear safety shields and an optional air-operated lid press.
Once the machine has been moved into place the operator will hook-up the compressed air line, the infeed product line and plug-in the power cord. This mobile pail filler is the most ruggedly built in the industry, made with structural steel, all-welded frames and includes heavy duty swivel casters with safety foot locks.
Description of Operation
- This is a model MPF-520, dual-lance mobile pail filler built for 1 to 7 gallon containers
- An operator moves the filling machine into a prepared position on a plant floor
- A wall plug is provided for connection to a power source
- The operator places a pail under each of the two lances
- By pressing start, the lances automatically travel into the container
- The controller will automatically zero tare each of the weights before the fill cycles begin
- The system has three speeds for each lance, slow/fast/slow, if needed
- The lances retract automatically ending the filling cycle
- Containers are manually moved on and off the filling station on gravity conveyors
- A quick connect air-line to compressed air and a product infeed line are needed
