Stainless Single Drum Filler
Built for a food grade application, this is an all-stainless steel, top and sub-surface, drum and pail filling machine for filling 5 to 55 gallon containers. All the wetted parts comply with sanitary conditions.

Overview
Built for a food grade application, this filling machine is used whenever filled drums will be picked-up by a fork truck, or palletized. It is an all-stainless steel, semi-automatic, top and sub-surface, drum and pail filling machine. The conveyors are also all-stainless steel construction with wash-down duty drives. When used in the sub-surface mode, this filling machine will fill 5 to 55 gallon containers. If open mouth containers are used, this filler can run automatically. All the necessary controls to operate the filler and conveyors are on the operator handle.
Description of Operation
This all-stainless steel system is a model DF-5510 sub-surface and a top-fill machine to fill 5 to 55 gallon containers.
- Containers automatically convey to and from the fill station when called
- If a tight-head container is used, the operator aligns the bung opening under the lance
- If an open-top drum is used, the machine can be made to run automatically
- By pressing the start button, the lance travels to the bottom of the container
- The machine will automatically zero the tare weight before starting the fill cycle
- The machine will fill in three speed; slow/fast/slow, if necessary
- When filled to the predetermined weight, the lance will automatically retract
- The operator presses a button to discharge the filled container and call another empty
- Fill a 55 gallon drum with water in 45 seconds at 80 gallons per minute product flow
